SWE Richmond will be hosting an activity and information table at Celebrate Engineering Ingenuity, an outreach event hosted by the Richmond Joint Engineers Council. The day will include popsicle stick bridge and egg drop competitions hosted by ASCE and ASME, plus tables hosted by different organizations.

SWE's table will host a short activity for students who stop by. The activity will be either building and testing parachutes, or using KEVA blocks to build 3D structures based on 2D elevation drawings.

Volunteers are needed for shifts from 10am to 12:30 and from 12:30 to 3. Volunteers will assist students with the activities, as well as performing setup and cleanup for the table. Sign up by emailing swe.richmond@gmail.com.
